In January 2015 I decided to combine my love of writing with my love of culture. To this end SLMpickings was born. I spend a lot of my leisure time visiting art galleries, museums and the theatre and SLMpickings is my take on these experiences. I enjoy keeping my finger on the pulse and am committed to seeking out interesting places and events, culminating in weekly posts across the following categories: Art & Entertainment, Urban Exploring and Dining with A Difference.
To mark the 1 year anniversary of the blog I decided to put it forward for the UK Blog Awards, because you never know!

I aim to talk about art and entertainment in a down to earth way, with the intention of creating accessible content which strays away from what can often be perceived as a pretentious area...
